The proven gritted anti-slip surface of our moulded grating has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface, especially in wet, oily or frosty work areas. What exactly is a GRP riser?

A riser void is the term given to a hole purposely left in the floor during the construction or refurbishment of multistorey buildings. They are put there to allow essential services – such as electrics – to be added at a later stage.

Whilst the voids serve an important function, they do pose a significant safety risk. Which is where GRP risers come in.

Specially designed to safely fill the gap, they dramatically reduce the risk of falls. And if manufactured in GRP, they are lightweight and easy to remove when required.
