GRP Handrails

If you’re looking for a cost-effective alternative to conventional metallic rails, GRP modular handrails are an excellent choice. Made up from 50mm tubes for the top-rail, mid-rail & upright posts, GRP moulded fittings are used in a key-clamp style, pieced together to complete the handrail system. Our modular handrails can be supplied pre-built to drawing or cut to size ready to be built on-site from flat pack form for your convenience.

Safer handrail systems for a range of environments

GRP modular handrails are most commonly used for stairways, guarding machinery & walkway support. However, they are suitable for use in both commercial and industrial environments, offering a safer and longer-lasting alternative to conventional handrail systems. The GRP modular handrail is certified to meet the requirements of BS4592:0 2006+A1 2012 industrial flooring, stairs and handrail for general duty (0.36kN/m).

Our GRP modular handrails offer a huge range of benefits, including:

GRP Fabricated Handrails

HR Fibreglass offer fabricated handrails bespoke to the client’s requirements, so we’re confident that whatever your needs may be, we can deliver reliable results.  The handrail is built entirely from GRP Pultruded Profiles, with multiple GRP Pultruded Profile sizes available.

We can fabricate any handrail required. GRP Box section is used for vertical posts, whilst Pultruded tube is used for mid-rail. Completing the fabricated handrail is a pultruded kick plate at the bottom of the posts. GRP heavy-duty base feet or side mounts can be used to fasten the handrail down for additional stability.

We have all profile dimensions available here at HR Fibreglass, so feel free to get in touch at any time.
